MEET YUPA
Yupa
Garden Projects was started by Ed Thornton in January 2022. Ed is a garden designer and
landscaper with an interest in improving the relations between humans and
plants via the creation of thoughtful and sustainable gardens.
Ed completed his garden design training with the National Academy of Garden Design and is currently extending his knowledge of plants through an RHS Level 2 Qualification in Horticulture. Ed carries out all of the design work at Yupa and is directly involved with all stages of the landscaping work, giving you a single contact throughout your garden project.
Ed previously worked as an academic and University Lecturer, teaching and writing about the history of philosophy. He is currently combining his interests through new research that seeks to consider the ways in which plant behaviour challenges the traditional categories of European thought.
